He did not slow down

As he turned a great bend

'til he came to the end

He looked to the left,
他看了看左邊
and he looked to the right
然後看了看右邊
But there was not a lion,
根本沒有獅子
Not a lion in sight
連獅子的影子都沒有
There was only a pond
只有一個池塘
just a few steps ahead,
就在面前幾步遠
So he walked slowly to it
於是他慢慢走過去
and peaked out his head
並伸出他的頭
He looked in the water,
看向水中
and what did he see?
他看到了什麼？
The lion, of course,
是的 他看到了獅子
for the lion was he
他就是那隻獅子
